Enterprise networks are recurring to licensed and unlicensed frequencies to establish high speed wireless point-to-point backhaul links between buildings or facilities, thus eliminating monthly recurring service provider's charges. With an easy to manage insfrastructure deployed within days by experts from Genesys Technologies, enterprises can lower their operational costs and be the owners of their own infrastructure.

Some Notes on Wireless Backhaul

The backhaul portion of the network comprises the intermediate links between the core, or backbone, of the network and the small subnetworks at the "edge" of the entire hierarchical network. The "wireless backhaul" term refers to a high speed, high capacity point-to-point wireless link. A backhaul can be a long range system, covering many kilometers, that uses licensed or unlicensed spectrum to deliver a point-to-point connection.

Capacities of between 20 Mbps and 1 Gbps can be deployed with latencies in the order of 1ms. In many cases, operators are aggregating sites using wireless technology and then presenting traffic on to fiber or copper networks where convenient.
